Zach Dolphin has broken the Bristol Pitbulls club record for goals scored in the most consecutive games.
After scoring in the very first game of the season in Cardiff, Zach Dolphin travelled to the Alexandra Palace for the Dayshift Recruitment Bristol Pitbulls first cup game of the season having not scored in any of his previous four games.
Zach scored the game-winning goal in that game, a game that could yet prove to be a crunch game in Bristol’s cup aspirations. The following night, he lit the red lamp again in Lee Valley. The following weekend, he got a hat-trick against Solent.
Fast forward to last weekend, Zach scored Bristol’s opening goal in their loss to Swindon. It was his tenth consecutive game in which he beat the opposition’s goalie, marking the first time that a Bristol player had made it to double figures.
Over those ten games, he has scored thirteen goals. Crucially, three of those thirteen goals were the game-winning goal.
Congratulations to Zach. Just another nine more games to keep the streak going to the end of the season!
