Nathan Chilcott and Mike Hargreaves have been named the Bristol Pitbulls Supporters’ Club’s Player of the Months for September and October, respectively.
Chilcott returned to his hometown team this season after a six year gap and has been one of the standout players over Bristol’s first nine games. His three goals and three assists so far this season only tell part of the story. Chilcott has shown himself to be an intimidating physical presence in games with several bone crunching open ice hits and a relentless ability to win pucks along the boards.
Hargreaves has been a stalwart of the team since it was first formed in 2009. His 235 games place him second on all-time appearances. So far this season, Hargreaves has been a steady influence in a defensive corps that have kept the opposition down to three regulation time goals in more than half of their games this season.
